MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 27, 1999 <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -10 -204 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR OPEN AND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF <br />MATERIALS AS AN ACCESSORY USE FOR THE CITY GARAGE <br />AT 3100 COUNTRY DRIVE SUBJECT TO COMPLL4NCE WITH <br />THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR <br />AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99- 10-205 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING <br />FOR THE SECOND COUNCIL MEETING IN NOVEMBER TO <br />CONSIDER AMENDING THE PUBLIC ZONING DISTRICT TO <br />ALLOW THE STORAGE OF WOOD CHIP PILES AS AN INTERIM <br />USE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan asked if there was any other location for the wood chip pile than <br />on City property on Country Drive. The Public Works Director reported <br />that other property owned by the City is park property, and he felt locating <br />a wood chip pile in any of the parks would be an infringement on <br />surrounding neighborhoods.
