CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 1 CITY OF LITTLE CANADA 1999 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT Following our descriptions of the various change order items encountered in the 1999 Street Reconstruction Project. 1. Install fiber optic cable along Viking Drive as per Mn /DOT. 4,000 linear feet at $10.50 per linear foot. Total lump sum addition for this item is $42,000. 2. Install a concrete arch pipe at the west end of East Brooks Street rather than the round pipe in the original bid. The arch pipe was necessary for clearance for over the top of the pipe. > Deduct Bid Item 16; 15" RC Pipe culvert, Class 5, 48 linear feet at $28.35 = $1,360.80. > Deduct Bid Item 17; 15" RC Pipe apron, 2 each at $617.50 for a total of $1,235. > Add 15" RC Pipe, 48 linear feet at $66.75 per linear feet = $3,204. > Add 15" arch RC pipe aprons, 2 each at $822.25 fora total of $1,644.50. Total lump sum addition for this item is $2,252.70. 3. Service hook -up on Viking Drive at City's request, the Contractor dug for a potential water service that was never found. Total lump sum addition for this item is $200. 4. Construct drainage swale and line it with field stone rip -rap at the west end of Viking Drive. This was a requirement of the Watershed District permit, which was received after the project was bid. Total lump sum addition for this item is $2,820. 5. Change the fence height along Viking Drive from 6 feet to 5 feet in height. Total lump sum deduct for this item is $645. 6. Lower hydrant along Viking Drive Total lump sum addition for this item is $650. 7. Remove 45 feet of 30 -inch CMP lined with 3 inches of concrete, which was discovered along Viking Drive.
