Hanson <br />Email: cityhall @ci.little- canada.mn.us <br />Planning Report <br />TO: Mayor & Council Members <br />Little Canada Planning Commission <br />FROM: Elizabeth Mursko, Zoning Administrator <br />DATE: October 7, 1999 <br />RE: Conditional Use Permit 3164 Ryan Lane <br />The applicant, Mr. Lee Rossow, has applied for a conditional use permit (CUP) for open <br />and outdoor storage of equipment as an accessory use in the rear yard, at 3164 Ryan <br />Lane, in Ryan Industrial Park. <br />The applicant indicates that there is one business (Comfort Bus) located in the building <br />with a total of six (6) employees. <br />Site and surrounding areas <br />This property is an interior lot located on a 2.80 acres parcel on the southeast corner of <br />Ryan Lane. The property is zoned "1 -1" Light Industrial. The purpose of the 1 -1 zoning <br />district is to provide for the establishment of warehousing and light or limited industrial <br />development, which because of the nature of the product or character of activity requires <br />isolation from residential or commercial use. <br />The property's principal use is a transportation terminal with minor bus repair within the <br />building.
