CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOWERING OF INTEREST RATE <br />ON CERTAIN DEFERRED ASSESSMENTS <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Little Canada will hold a public <br />hearing on Wednesday, November 10, 1999, in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City to pass upon the proposed lowering of the interest <br />rate of certain municipal deferred assessments. This action will result in a lower interest rate <br />than is currently being charged on these particular deferred assessments. The interest rate <br />proposed is seven (7) percent. The Public Hearing begins at 7:30 P.M. The properties <br />proposed to be affected are: <br />Property ID No. 05- 29 -22 -11 -0016 <br />Property ID No. 05- 29 -22 -31 -0013 <br />Property ID No. 05- 29 -22 -31 -0047 <br />Property ID No. 06- 29 -22 -13 -0040 <br />Property ID No. 06- 29 -22 -41 -0003 <br />Property ID No. 06- 29 -22 -41 -0005 <br />Property ID No. 06- 29 -22 -41 -0006 <br />Property ID No. 07- 29 -22 -14 -0012 <br />Property ID No. 07- 29 -22 -21 -0026 <br />Property ID No. 07- 29 -22 -21 -0066 <br />Property ID No. 07- 29 -22 -22 -0072 <br />Property ID No. 07- 29 -22 -31 -0001 <br />Property ID No. 08- 29 -22 -22 -0016 <br />A list of deferred assessments is on file with the City Administrator. <br />Written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be considered. <br />No appeal may be taken as to the amount of any assessment adopted pursuant to MN Statutes <br />1984 Section 429.061, Subdivision 2 unless a written objection signed by the affected property <br />owner is filed with the City Administrator prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the <br />presiding officer at the Hearing. <br />Any owner may appeal an assessment to district court pursuant to Section 429.081 by serving <br />notice of the appeal upon the Mayor or City Administrator of the City of Little Canada within 30 <br />days after the adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten <br />days after service upon the Mayor or City Administrator. <br />Senior citizens or retired or disabled persons may request a hardship special assessment deferral <br />in accordance with Sections 435.193 to 435.195 as follows: <br />435.193 Senior Citizens or retired and disabled persons hardship special assessment deferral. <br />Page 65 <br />
