MINUTES <br />CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT — <br />3101 COUNTRY <br />DRIVE — <br />JERRY CARLE <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LTl ILE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 8, 1999 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 8th <br />day of April, 1999 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mr. John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following <br />members of the Commission were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Scott Barraclough (arr. 8:05 P.M.) <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Ms. Faith Kraemer <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />Ms. Elizabeth Mursko, Code Enforcement <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the March 11, 1999 Planning <br />Commission meeting, those minutes stood approved as submitted. <br />Mr. Jerry Carle appeared before the Commission relative to his application <br />for Conditional Use Permit to allow open and outdoor storage of towed <br />automobiles as an additional principle use at 3101 Country Drive. Mr. <br />Carle reported that not much has changed since the last Planning <br />Commission meeting other than he has taken care of the signage <br />concerned raised by the Code Enforcement Officer. Carle reported that he <br />discussed the possibility of erecting a building to store the towed vehicles <br />in with City staff, however, that option would be too expensive. Carle <br />suggested that landscaping the parking area with 10 to 20 foot tall trees <br />would be an option for screening this area from view. <br />Page 27 <br />
