515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117-1600
(651) 484 -2177 / FAX: (651) 484 -4538
TO: Mayor & Council Members
FROM: Elizabeth Mursko, Code Enforcement Officer
DATE: March 24, 1999
RE: Additional Information Referencing 3101 Country Drive
MAYOR
Michael L Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim 1.aValle
Steve Moreton
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
The attached information was submitted to the City Staff on March 24, 1999. Due to the
late submission, City Staff has not had adequate time to review the additional
information and incorporate it into the Planning Report.
The attached information does not include a request from the applicants to refer this
application back to the Planning Commission for further review nor does it include a
request for an additional sixty (60) days for City staff to review the additional information
submitted on March 24, 1999. These issues were discussed on March 15, 1999 during
City planning hours held on March 15, 1999 along with documentation hand - delivered
on March 16, 1999.
My recommendation to the Council is to proceed with the public hearing and review of
the application for an open and outdoor storage of impounded vehicles during the
March 24, 1999 Council Meeting. If this application is denied, staff recommends that
the Council refer the issues of open and outdoor storage of 4 -6 tow trucks along with
co- located office space back to the Planning Commission for further review at the April
8, 1999 meeting.
Page 1
