Review this information and let me <br />know if you have any questions or want to see revisions. <br />I have reviewed your memo to the City Council. I agree with the points you make to the Council <br />about the Rice Street/Little Canada Road area. <br />It is my firm belief that the best short -term strategy is to allow the Collyard and Rutzick <br />"proposals" to play themselves out over the next 30 to 45 days. The best immediate opportunity <br />for the NE corner is development across the street. If neither of these options move ahead, then <br />we should lay out the potential strategies in greater detail for Council consideration. Even if we <br />began to pursue another approach on the NE site immediately, I do aot think that we are likely to <br />find a project that would start in 1999.
