The car wash <br />would then relocate behind me in the area that is currently fenced in. I am looking at <br />combining lot 2600 which is vacant, lot 2616 which is owned and used by the storage <br />company, and 2620 which is the car wash and the boarded up building next to it, to <br />give me a total of 273 feet along Rice Street. <br />It is my understanding that there are concems about this type of business on this <br />comer and I would like to address these concerns and see if they can be overcome. <br />The building itself can be laid out to be appealing to passing traffic and can blend in <br />the surrounding area businesses by creating a full vehicle service area — Gas, Car <br />Wash and Service Center. The Goodyear would employee 10 full time employees <br />and would service anywhere from 25 -35 customers per day, most of which are same <br />day service. The number of vehicle repair licenses for 1997 -98 in Little Canada was <br />23, which includes body shops and specialty repair shops. Less than 9 of these are <br />general repair facilities that handle all automotive service repairs from tires and <br />batteries to replacement of engines and transmissions. <br />I would appreciate the city looking over this proposal and giving it careful <br />consideration . <br />Thank You, <br />G�rliz <br />Perry Linn <br />GOOD YEAR <br />Page 16 <br />
