BONESTR00 ASSOCIATES 6126361311 06/25/96 16 :11 Cjl:06 N0:960
If the ultimate water main is not installed at this time, any homes that are built will not have standard fue
protection.
Our rough calculations show that a water service of at least I -112" diameter would be necessary to serve the
proposed home (smaller sized pipes would experience an unacceptable amount of pressure loss).
As mentioned earlier, we are concerned about the abandonment of private utility systems in the future. It is
not desirable for the City to have abandoned private utilities within the City right-of-way in the fare. If the
owner is allowed to install temporary utility services at this time, and if the ultimate layout of the street is
unknown, then we reconnncnd that the owner provide for the removal of these lines at the time the property,
fully develops. The approximate cost of this work is $5,000.
We would be pleased to discuss any of these issues with you in more detail if you would like.
pc: Scott Tangcn
Page 38
