iMF4TJTES OF 1 1 E REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 3, 1999 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 3`1 day of Tune, 1999 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road East in said City. <br />Chair Muriel Bianchi called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. and the following members of <br />the Commission were present at roll call: <br />WA/JEERS PRESENT: <br />Ms. Muriel Bianchi, Chair <br />Mr. Matthew Anderson <br />Mr. Robert Schabacker <br />MEMBERS NOT PRESENT: Mr. David Gray <br />Ms. Karen Johnson <br />Ms. Ginger Saricett Glaser <br />Ms. Kathleen Smith <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Recreation Director <br />Mr. Bill Sanders, Park Consultant <br />Ms. Kris Pechman, Recording Secretary <br />LACK OF Since there was not a quorum of Commission members present at tonight's meeting, no <br />QUORUM official action could be taken. Commission members are reminded that in the event of an <br />absence, they should call Muriel Bianchi at 787 -0166 as soon as possible to report such <br />absence. Therefore, if there is not going to be a quorum present, the meeting could be <br />cancelled. <br />MINUTES No action was taken on the minutes from the May 6, 1999 meeting due to the lack of <br />quorum. <br />RJ MARCO The Director stated that RJ Marco Construction is proposing to combine two lots on Viking <br />SUBDIVISION Drive east of Rice Street for future construction of a business. Sanders felt there would be no <br />, interest in obtaining park land in that area. The consensus of Commission members present <br />felt that cash should be accepted in lieu of land for RJ Marco's park charge. <br />BIAGINI PLAT The Director stated that Mr. Richard Biagini is proposing to construct two office buildings on <br />Country Drive north of Nadeau Road. The Director felt there would be no need for park land <br />in that area. The consensus of Commission members present felt that cash should be <br />accepted in lieu of land for Mr. Biagini's park charge. <br />PALMEN Bianchi reported that Ron Paimen has withdrawn his concept review for the Paimen <br />OVERLOOK Overcook Plat. Therefore, the tour of the site the Commission had planned before <br />meeting tonight was cancelled. <br />PAGE 168 <br />the <br />
