MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 20, 2026 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Workshop meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 20th day of May 2026 in the Conference Room of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the following members of the <br />City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Kwapick, Malone and Miller. Absent: <br />None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryce Shearen. <br />INTERVIEWS FOR CITY COUNCIL VACANCY <br />The City Council interviewed Mike Mui at 6:00 p.m. and Nick Schwalbach at 7:00 p.m. to fill <br />the City Council vacancy. <br />The City Council discussed the two applicants after the interviews were completed, and there <br />was Council consensus to appoint Nick Schwalbach to fill the remainder of the vacant City <br />Council position, with a term ending December 31, 2026, and directed staff to bring the <br />appointment forward at the May 27, 2026, City Council meeting. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br />Thomas Fischer, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />C)9-'Ltm� <br />Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br />
