This includes leveraging technology, moving to an electric <br />fleet when ready, updating zoning, and more. <br /> <br />Empowering High Performance Action Item Progress <br />• On-Track: 40.0% <br />• Upcoming: 30.0% <br />• Not Started: 30.0% <br /> <br />Action Item Highlights <br />Four items within the Empowering High Performance Strategic Direction are on track, with <br />measurable progress. <br />• Execute study on EV fleet conversion <br />o Public Works staff have analyzed and purchased first electric truck in 2025 <br />• Develop an internal committee to analyze AI <br />o Committee has been developed, met, and has reviewed several solutions. <br />• Analyze feasibility of online city code <br />o Two quotes secured. Contract with CivicPlus for online code was executed. Online code <br />should be finalized in conjunction with the city website update <br />• Complete a software audit <br />o Staff have internally reviewed software and is in the process of demoing possible city- <br />wide solutions for various city workflows <br /> <br />Note: One action item was removed (redefine front office duties) <br /> <br />Upcoming Work for Empowering High Performance in 2026 <br />• Create a sustainability committee <br />o Leadership Team have started developing <br />• Develop plan for city code updates and modifications <br />o In process <br />• Analyze feasibility of online city code <br />o Implementation scheduled as part of city website refresh <br />• Conduct a staffing analysis for community gathering space personnel needs <br />o Planned for 2026 <br /> <br />Strategic Direction 4: Providing Transparent Communications <br />The way people communicate and receive information has changed rapidly over the past few years. <br />Soundbites have replaced essays, and newspapers are vanishing. The city desires to communicate in a <br />way that is helpful, honest, timely, and delivered in a variety of formats. <br /> <br />Providing Transparent Communications Action Item Progress <br />• On-Track: 50% <br />• Upcoming: 33.3% <br />• Not Started: 16.7% <br /> <br />Action Item Highlights <br />Three items within the Empowering High Performance Strategic Direction are on track, with <br />measurable progress. <br />
