The Honorable Mayor and City Council
December 11, 1998
Page Two
6. According to a December 5, 1997, memorandum from former Public Works Director
Scott Tangen, sanitary sewer and water stubs should be available to service lots 1 and
2. Therefore, there will need to be an extension of sanitary sewer and water service to
lots 3 and 4. Mr. Tangen indicates in his memorandum that the utilities are adequate to
services lots 3 and 4. As the project moves forward, detailed plans should be provided
and reviewed for these utility extensions, along with the street reconstruction, for
conformance with City policy.
7. The driveway off of lot 1 is on the east side of the house pad onto County Road B2. This
puts the driveway approximately 70 feet away from the intersection of Gilanderi Lane
and County Road B2. Normally, this would be an undesirable situation, but with the
limited traffic from the Gilanderi Lane area and the difficult elevations that the developer
is working with on lot 1, this is the most acceptable solution.
If you have any questions regarding any of these comments, please call.
Sincerely,
Howard R.
