MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 22, 1997 <br />PROPERTY <br />DIVISION — <br />353 ROSE <br />LANE — <br />WHITMAN <br />Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the property <br />division requested by Mr. David Whitman for 353 Rose Lane. It was <br />pointed out that this division had been approved a few years ago. <br />However, the approval lapsed since the property division was not <br />recorded within 12 months of approval. The Planning Commission has <br />recommended approval of the division as requested. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -10 -250 - APPROVING THE PROPERTY <br />DIVISION AS REQUESTED BY MR. DAVID WHITMAN FOR 353 <br />ROSE LANE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />1EIk,IlYIINAR >` Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the preliminary and <br />ANtk FAf final plat presented by the St. Paul Water Department for their property <br />SF PAUL located on Rice Street south of 694. It was noted that the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the preliminary and final plat. <br />D eY.RIME1V•'Ix <br />PROPERTY` `~ <br />Edith Schultz asked about the work the St. Paul Water Department was <br />doing on Centerville Road pointing out that the road surface has not been <br />restored. The City Administrator replied that the work on Centerville <br />Road is a City project. The culvert for Ditch 16A is being extended in <br />order to provide an off -road walking path. The City just met with the <br />contractor to discuss completion of the work. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission has recommended trail access along the wetland area on this <br />property.
