' <br />The Commission discussed the time frame for residing the garage, and the <br />Planner indicated that typically a year is allowed within which all <br />conditions must be complied with. <br />The Commission also indicated to Mr. Meyer that the Building Inspector <br />will have to inspect the garage. Given that the garage is located in Harris, <br />Minnesota, the Commission suggested that Meyer may want to take some <br />pictures of it to submit to the Inspector. <br />Mr. Knudsen recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit to <br />move a garage onto the property at 2900 Edgerton Street subject to <br />compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in <br />his report dated September 4, 1998, and pointing out that Mr. Meyer has <br />12. months within which all conditions must be met, including the residing <br />of the garage to match the house. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 6 — 0. <br />The Commission reviewed the request of Douglas Swalboski for a shed <br />ON the Hardees' Restaurant property located at 3354 Rice Street. The <br />H R 'tES' Commission discussed the parking lot layout, and the City Planner <br />PR?PERTY indicated that the parking lot layout was modified from what was <br />originally approved. However, the layout that exists is acceptable. <br />Montour recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit allowing <br />the shed on the Hardees' Restaurant site at 3354 Rice Street subject to <br />compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in <br />his report dated September 4, 1998. <br />COMP PLAN <br />Motion seconded by Schletty. <br />Motion carried 6 — 0. <br />The City Planner reviewed amendments to the City's Comp Plan which <br />are the result of requirements imposed by the Metropolitan Council. The <br />Planner noted that at the time the City was completing its Comp Plan <br />update, the State mandated every City to update their plans by the end of <br />1998. At that time the Met Council imposed some standards, and the <br />City's updated plan had to be modified to comply with these standards. <br />The Planner indicated that these changes are relatively insignificant and <br />Page 12 <br />
