With regard to the information supplied, the application has been brought forward in a site
plan format, without the usual materials required by a preliminary plat. Since the property
is developed at this time, however, it is believed that the plat can proceed without the
supplementary information. The City Engineer and Public Works Director should comment
regarding any street, grading, or utilities issues which may affect the need for easements
or other City issues.
A final technical matter would be the City's mortgagee interest in the parcel. At the time
of the applicant's redevelopment of the shopping center, the City assisted financially and
accepted a mortgage interest in the property. This aspect would have to be resolved prior
to signing the final plat.
cc: Kathy Glanzer
Greg Schmidt
Terry Maurer
Scott Tangen
Bob Grootwassink
2
Page 30
