Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morel=
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
The status report is as follows:
♦ Briggs & Morgan is completing the draft of our development agreement to be forwarded
to Mr. Wise. It will be out early next week.
♦ To -date, I have not received the lease from Mr. Wise. I have also placed a telephone call
to him asking for a follow -up meeting to review our respective documents.
♦ Rusty Fifield is working on the financial analysis necessary to assist us in discussing
relocation options with existing businesses.
♦ The appraisals we ordered a couple of months ago have been completed and reviewed.
They will be presented for consideration if we move forward with the acquisition process.
♦ Ramsey County has done a preliminary review of the developer's concept drawing. They
would prefer one access point on Rice Street versus the two proposed. This and other
issues will be reviewed with the developer as the project progresses.
♦ I have not done anything from a streetscape perspective as of yet. I am waiting for a
revised drawing from the developer.
♦ I have talked with representatives of Lakeside Apartments. A meeting with them will
likely be held the fourth week of June to discuss access issues.
JRH:kpv
cc: Kim Wise
Chris Moarn
Rusty Fifield
Page 16
