APR -03 -1998 15:16 2 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97•e\ <br />CITY OF WILLERNIE <br />' WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />P.04/05 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 94 OF THE CITY OF <br />WILLERNIE REGULATING ANIMAL CONTROL. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WILLERNIE ORDAINS: <br />Section <br />Willernie adopted November 18, 1981,c N <br />is hereby amended .by of <br />modifying Section 9, Subdivision 3 thereof to read as follows: <br />No wild animal may be kept within the City <br />limits, except under such conditions as <br />shall be fixed by the City Council; provided, <br />however, that wild animals may be kept for <br />exhibition purposes by circuses,' zoos and <br />educational institutions in accordance with <br />such regulations as shall be established by <br />the City Council. "Wild animal" ;shall include <br />all animals other than those•generally known <br />to be household pets such as cats and dogs. <br />If there is any questions as to whether an <br />animal is a wild animal within the meaning <br />of this section, the owner shall ask the <br />City Council for a determination of that <br />issue. <br />Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance, as amended, <br />shall be in full force and effect following its passage and <br />publication according to law. <br />Adopted by .the.
