Loan Disbursement Process <br />Disbursement Process: Loan funds will remain in escrow with NeighborWorks Home Partners until payment <br />for completed work. The following items must be received from homeowner before the funds can be <br />released: <br />1.Contractor signs Contractor Acknowledgement Form prior to starting work. The form outlines the <br />payment process and responsibilities of the contractor. <br />2.Current general liability and workers comp insurance certificate for the contractor. <br />3.If work requires a permit, the contractor must have evidence of current licensing with the State of <br />Minnesota. <br />4.Permits Closed. Have the inspector sign the permit card or have final approval listed in an online permit <br />system. <br />5.Photos of the completed project. <br />6.Final Invoice from each contractor showing all amounts paid and due. <br />7.Lien Waiver signed by each contractor. <br />8.Completion Certificate signed by each contractor and the borrower.
