Hanson <br />Our original assumption was that our water main corrosion problems would be limited to the <br />area around the pond on Country Drive, due to the extensive peat in the area. We have found that <br />the corrosion problem is more severe than anticipated and extends to a bigger area than <br />originally thought. However, due to the fact that we have not had to dig into the bituminous or <br />replace any curb we have, as of this date, been able to make seven repairs. I anticipate four more <br />repairs before we reach our dollar limit under this contract, if bituminous restoration isn't needed <br />or if we find the corrosion problems have ended (not very likely). <br />I recommend payment for Request #1 for Country Drive Water Main Repairs. <br />Page 29 <br />
