CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ELECTRICAL INSPECTION SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />I. Parties. This Agreement is dated the day of , 1998, <br />and is entered into by and between the City of Little Canada, a Minnesota municipal <br />corporation ( "City") and North Metro Inspections, Inc., a Minnesota corporation ( "North <br />Metro "). <br />II. Recitals. The City desires to hire North Metro for electrical inspection services. North <br />Metro, as an independent contractor, will control the means and manner of performing its <br />services; will be paid on a per inspection basis; will furnish its own tools, equipment, office <br />space, and support staff. <br />III. Terms and Conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual undertakings <br />herein expressed, the parties agree: <br />A. Scope of Services. North Metro shall perform electrical inspection services to include <br />the following: <br />1. Review of electrical plans, review building plans as necessary, and issue electrical <br />permits. <br />2. Provide all required on -site inspection services in a timely and professional <br />manner and within 24 hours of the date of receipt of a request for inspection. <br />North Metro shall also provide, on a daily basis or at some other interval as <br />determined appropriate by the City's Building Official, a notice indicating when <br />electrical inspections have been completed. <br />3. Retain all pertinent records and copies of permits and correspondence related to <br />each permit and make such records available to the City upon request. North <br />Metro shall also provide a detailed annual report on forms approved by the City's <br />Administrator that will include an estimate of revenues and expenditures for the <br />succeeding year. <br />4. Coordinate electrical inspection work through the City's Building Official when <br />other inspection work is also being done on a particular site. <br />5. Provide the City with a notice if North Metro expands its client base beyond the <br />cities of Roseville, Shoreview, Little Canada, North St. Paul, and North Oaks. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />Page 37 <br />
