5 -08 -1998 10:51AM <br />FROM SWEENEY LAW FIRM 2235289 P.3 <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 1105 TO THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />RELATING TO NON - DOMESTICATED ANIMALS <br />TEE.CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Chapter 1105 is hereby added to the Municipal Code of the <br />City of Little Canada, as follows: <br />Section 1105,010. Purpose. <br />The purpose of this.Ordinance is.to protect the public <br />health from dfsease,transmission, animal bites, animal <br />attacks and other serious injury, and public nuisances <br />arising from the keeping or escape of non - domesticated <br />animals. <br />Section 1105.020. Definition. <br />Non-domesticated animal: any wild animal, reptile, or . <br />fowl which is not naturally tame or gentle, but is of a wild <br />nature or disposition, and which, because of its size, <br />vicious naLuLe, or other'characteristjcs would constitute a <br />danger to human life or property. The term includes animals <br />and birds, the keeping of which is licensed by the state or <br />federal government, such as, wolves, raptors, and pheasants. <br />By way of example and not of limitation, the term includes: <br />snakes, eagles, ocelots, jaguars, cougars, weasels, wild <br />ferrets, badgers, monkeys, chimpanzees, deer and bison. <br />Section 1105.030. Prohibited animals. <br />No person, firm, corporation or other business shall <br />keep, maintain or harbor within the City of Little Canada, <br />any of the following animals. <br />'A.
