• Mayor is default; spot can be delegated to a council member <br />• Cities determine their own representative <br /> <br />Consultant Support <br />Consultant Services during Baseline Status <br />The coalition would continue retaining consultant support to assist with: <br />• Monitoring and tracking emerging issues <br />• Preparing monthly written updates <br />• Supporting Executive Team meetings <br />• Drafting brief talking points and messaging materials, as needed <br />• Coordinating quarterly in-person coalition meetings <br />• Providing strategic communications support as requested <br /> <br />Consultant Services during Elevated Response <br />During active response periods, consultant services would scale similarly to the support model <br />utilized during Metro Surge. <br /> <br />Consultant Oversight <br />The consultant would be managed by two designated Executive Team members, ideally <br />including the city holding the contract. <br /> <br />Funding Structure <br />Proposed Budget <br />• $30,000 flat annual consultant contract for the initial 12-month period <br />• Structure and funding reviewed annually <br /> <br />Cost Allocation <br />• Equal cost-sharing among participating cities <br /> <br />Membership Structure <br />• Participation would occur on an “all in/all out” basis during baseline operations <br />• Additional cities could join during elevated response periods with an expectation of <br />contributing to associated costs <br />
