City of Little Canada, Minnesota <br />Ordinance No. 738 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2012-9-733 ESTABLISHING A <br />TWELVE MONTH MORATORIUM WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />WHICH PROHIBITED THE APPLICATION FOR AND /OR THE ISSUANCE OF <br />LICENSES OR ZONING APPROVALS, AND /OR THE OPERATION OF NEW <br />BUSINESS PREMISES FOR THE FOLLOWING USES: AUTOMOBILE REPAIR, <br />MINOR; AUTOMOBILE REPAIR, MAJOR; AUTOMOBILE REPAIR, SALVAGE; <br />NEW OR USED AUTOMOBILE SALES, INDOOR; NEW OR USED AUTOMOBILE <br />SALES, OUTDOOR SALES LOTS; JUNKING OR SALVAGE OF AUTOMOBILES, <br />AND /OR THE SALES OF USED PARTS FROM USED OR SALVAGE VEHICLES <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />MORATORIUM SCOPE AMENDED <br />Auto Repair -Minor and Auto Repair -Major are hereby exempted from the moratorium and the <br />following references are clarified or deleted from Ordinance No. 2012 -9 -733: <br />The moratorium applies to Automobile Repair - Salvage only in Chapter 807; <br />The moratorium applies only to motor vehicle and recreational equipment sales (indoor) <br />and garages accessory thereto in Chapters 911.040.B and 912- A.040.L; <br />Chapters 914.040.E, and 914.040.1I are hereby deleted from the moratorium ordinance. <br />Section 2. <br />Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption and publication, shall be <br />effective for twelve (12) months from its effective date, and shall expire at that time unless <br />further extended according to law, or terminated at a prior date by City Council resolution. <br />William Biesener, Mayor <br />
