MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 19, 2012 <br />APPOINT- <br />MENTS <br />TO PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br />NORTH <br />STAR <br />ESTATES <br />ACCESS <br />EASEMENT <br />Lolmaugh, Bernard Menge, and Kong Vang. The vote was unanimous to <br />appoint Linda Fahey and Kong Vang. <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -12 -222 — APPOINTING LINDA FAHEY <br />AND KONG VANG TO THE PARKS & RECREATION <br />COMMISSION FOR THREE YEAR TERMS COMMENCING <br />JANUARY 1, 2013 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Blesener suggested inviting one or two of the Commission applicants to <br />attend the 2013 Goal Setting Session. The Administrator reported that he <br />would have a recommendation in that regard on the next Council agenda. <br />It was noted that the same interview process occurred for applicants to the <br />Planning Commission, with the Mayor, Council Member McGraw, and <br />Commission chair conducting interviews. At this point, the Council voted <br />by ballot for the two appoints. The applicants considered were Melissa <br />Bechon, Gib Coleman, Stephen Manhart, Bernard Menge, Heidi Murphy, <br />Barry Roberts, Nick Schwalbach, and Kong Vang. The Council voted <br />unanimously to appoint Heidi Murphy and Nick Schwalbach. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -12 -222 — APPOINTING HEIDI MURPHY <br />AND NICK SCHWALBACH TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />FOR THREE YEAR TERMS COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2013 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator thanked Jon Hall and Katie Lolmaugh for their <br />years of service to the City. <br />The City Administrator reported that the ownership of North Star Estates <br />Mobilehome Park is in the process of refinancing. As part of the title <br />work that has been done, it was discovered that the access drive into the <br />park from Country Drive is over property owned by the City. This <br />property was originally a part of the Public Works garage site prior to the <br />improvement of Country Drive. <br />12 <br />
