MINUTES CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 19, 2012 HAPPY HOLIDAYS The Administrator pointed out that the City hired a consultant to evaluate the value of the cell tower lease, and the Council will be presented with that evaluation as part of the closed session. The Administrator reported that the closed session would be held in accordance with State Law and the discussions would be taped. Again, that closed session will be held to discuss the potential purchase of 53 South Owasso Blvd as well as the potential acquisition of the cell tower lease on this property. The Administrator indicated that following the closed session, a decision on these purchases would be an action item at the December 27th special meeting. Once the transactions or decisions are finalized, the tapes and closed meeting minutes would be available to the general public for review. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -12 -224 — ADDING THE TOPICS OF POTENTIAL PURCHASE OF 53 SOUTH OWASSO BLVD. AS WELL AS POTENTIAL ACQUISITION OF CELL TOWER LEASE ON THIS PROPERTY AS ACTION ITEMS FOR THE DECEMBER 27, 2012 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -12 -225 — CALLING AND CONVENING INTO CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS THE POTENTIAL ACQUISITION OF 53 SOUTH OWASSO BLVD. AND POTENTIAL ACQUISITION OF CELL TOWER LEASE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE ADJOURNMENT OF THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0).
