11. GENERAL EXPENSES. The City recognizes that certain expenses of a non - personal and <br />job affiliated nature will be incurred by Hanson. The City agrees to reimburse or to pay said <br />expenses, subject to prior Council approval. <br />12. HOURS OF WORK. It is understood that the position of City Administrator requires <br />attendance at evening meetings and occasionally at weekend meetings. It is understood by <br />Hanson that additional compensation and compensatory time shall not be allowed with <br />reference to any such additional expenditures of time, It is further understood that Hanson <br />may absent himself from the office to a reasonable extent in consideration of extraordinary <br />time expenditures for evening and weekend meetings at other than normal working hours. <br />13. AUTOMOBILE. Hanson shall be reimbursed for his personal automobile use for City <br />Business at the standard mileage rate allowed per Internal Revenue Service regulations. <br />14. GENERAL CONDITIONS 01? EMPLOYMENT. Nothing in this Agreement shall <br />prevent, limit or otherwise interfere with the right of the City Council to terminate the services <br />of Hanson at any time, for any reason, subject only to the provisions of this Agreement. <br />Furthermore, nothing in this agreement shall prevent, limit or otherwise interfere with the right <br />of Ilanson to resign at any time from his position with the City, subject only to the provisions <br />of this Agreement. <br />If any provision, or any portion thereof, contained in this Agreement is held to be <br />unconstitutional, invalid, or unenforceable, the remainder of the Agreement, or a portion <br />thereof, shall be deemed severable, shall not be affected, and shall remain in full force and <br />effect. <br />This Agreement shall be effective January 1, 2013. <br />5 <br />6 <br />
