CITY OF LITTLE CANADA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED REASSESSMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Little Canada will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 8, 1997, in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City to pass upon the proposed reassessment for: IMPROVEMENT NO. 93 -13 - Public hearing begins at 7:30 P.M. Lake Street lying between Jackson Street on the west and Lakeshore Avenue on the east by street reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter, and storm drainage facilities Amount to be assessed is $3,000.00. The property proposed to be reassessed is: Parcel No. 07- 29 -22 -12 -0051 North Park except the East 100 feet of the North 1/2 of Lot 10, Block 1, North Park. The proposed assessment roll is on file with the City Administrator. Written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be considered. No appeal may be taken as to the amount of any assessment adopted pursuant to MN Statutes 1984 Section 429.061, Subdivision 2 unless a written objection signed by the affected property owner is filed with the City Administrator prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the Hearing. Any owner may appeal an assessment to district court pursuant to Section 429.081 by serving notice of the appeal upon the Mayor or City Administrator of the City of Little Canada within 30 days after the adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten days after service upon the Mayor or City Administrator. Senior citizens or retired and disabled persons may request a hardship special assessment deferral in accordance with Sections 435.193 to 435.195 as follows: 435.193 Senior Citizens or retired and disabled persons hardship special assessment deferral.
