towers shall only be allowed as accessory uses. <br />TOWER- PRIVATE: Any pole, spire or structure, or combination <br />thereof including supporting lines, cables, wires, braces and <br />masts, intended primarily for the purpose of mounting an antenna, <br />meteorological device or similar apparatus above grade and which <br />is erected for the non - commercial and non - vendor use of <br />information. <br />Section 2. <br />Chapter 903.140 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby added to read as follows: <br />Chapter 903.140. PURPOSE. The general purpose of this <br />Ordinance is to regulate the placement, construction and <br />modification of antennas and antenna structures in order to <br />protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public, while at <br />the same time not unreasonably interfering with the development <br />of the competitive wireless telecommunications marketplace in <br />Little Canada. Specifically, the objectives of this Ordinance <br />are: <br />*To direct the location of antennas and antenna structures <br />in the City; <br />*To protect residential areas and land uses from potential <br />3 <br />Page 22 <br />
