REMOVAL OF ABANDONED OR DAMAGED TOWERS <br />Arden Hills — No provision in the ordinance. <br />Bloomington — Provisions for removal to be addressed in lease agreement. If tower is not <br />removed within 12 months of cessation of operations at a site, the tower and associated <br />facilities may be removed by the City and costs of removal assessed against the property. <br />F & B Model — If use of tower discontinued for a period of one year, tower shall be <br />deemed abandoned. City can initiate proceedings to either acquire the tower at fair <br />market value, or order demolition. Public hearing required. After hearing, the City as <br />required by this Ordinance, or may require Licensee to pay for all expenses necessary to <br />acquire or demolish the Tower. <br />Inver Grove Heights - Towers and accompanying accessory facilities must be removed <br />within 12 months of cessation of operations. Performance bond or letter of credit in an <br />amount sufficient to cover removal costs of the tower and accessory facilities as <br />documented by a qualified and licensed professional engineer. <br />Minneapolis — Must be removed within 12 months of cessation of operations. If not, <br />tower may be deemed a nuisance and the City may act to abate such nuisance and require <br />removal at the property owner's expense. <br />Plymouth — Obsolete and unused antenna shall be removed within 12 months of <br />cessation of operation. No provisions spelled out for removal. <br />Roseville — Towers and receiving facilities shall be dismantled and removed from the site <br />within one year after abandonment of the use of the tower or facility. No other <br />provisions. Please note — antennas allowed only on City -owned towers. <br />Vadnais Heights — No provision. <br />White Bear Lake — No provision. <br />Woodbury — Uses the dangerous or unsafe structures Statute, Sections 463.15 through <br />463.26. <br />Page 15 <br />
