EXHIBIT A - STUDY PROGRAM ACTIVITIES <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />The study program activities proposed by the City of Little Canada includes sanitary sewer system <br />inspection and evaluation for two sanitary districts within the City. The focus of the study <br />program will be those areas within the northern portion of district 3 and the north -east portion of <br />district 4. Included in the scope of study activities will be the investigation of all residential homes <br />within the study area for non - compliance connections. Activities within the study area include: <br />1. Development and implementation of a public information and awareness campaign to educate <br />public of the impacts of clear water connections and to notify residents within study area of <br />home inspections for sump pumps. <br />2. Visual inspections of all MH structures within the two study areas. A total of approximately <br />64 MH structures have been identified within the study areas. <br />3. Televised inspection of sewers within the study area. A total of approximately 16,000 feet of <br />sanitary sewer has been identified within the study areas and included in the study program <br />Sanitary sewers to be inspected will be cleaned prior to the televised inspection. <br />4. Visual inspections of approximately 220 residential homes representing 100% of all <br />connections within the study area. Visual inspections will focus on documenting non- <br />compliance connections to the sewer via sump pumps. <br />5. Upon completion of all inspections, and review of inspection reports, a summary report will <br />be prepared. Summary report is to include recommendations for prioritized I/1 sewer <br />rehabilitation work and associated costs for implementing said work. <br />Study activities will be conducted using a combination of City staff personnel, contracted service <br />vendors and consultant services. <br />Page 40 <br />
