MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 26, 1997 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />OLD FIRE HALL <br />USE POLICY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (3) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3 -68 — CALLING A WORKSHOP MEETING <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2, 1997AT 7P.M. TO DISCUSS THE <br />PROVINCES TAX CREDIT ISSUES WITH DOMINIUM <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (3) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3 -69 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: <br />- APPROVAL OF METROPOLITAN COUNCIL GRANT <br />AGREEMENT FOR INFILTRATION /INFLOW STUDY AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />- CALLING FOR A VACATION HEARING FOR WEDNESDAY, <br />APRIL 23, 1997 AT 7:30 P.M. TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF <br />CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE RICE STREET MOTOR <br />LINE ADDITION AS REQUESTED BY THE ST. PAUL WATER <br />UTILITY; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (3) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Administrative Assistant presented the proposed use policy <br />for the Old Fire Hall, rental information for community room space for <br />cities in the area, and the Fire Department's and LCRA's position on the <br />leasing of the lower level of the Old Fire Hall as community room space. <br />The Assistant indicated the proposed use policy for the Old Fire Hall <br />addresses the current uses of that facility, and recommended adoption of <br />this policy.
