MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 26, 1997 <br />open. <br />Scalze indicated that visibility from the street is an <br />issue and felt sheds adjacent to the side of a house <br />should be permanently screened from the road. <br />Morelan indicated he had no objection to a nice - looking <br />shed placed next to a house. <br />Scalze suggested the City Planner rework the ordinance <br />and develop some additional standards for a CUP. <br />Scalze also suggested that in developing future <br />ordinances, those ordinances be sent to the Planning <br />Commission after the Council has had the opportunity to <br />review the final draft. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to speak on this matter. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -2 -42 - TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 902.010 AND 903.020 OF THE <br />LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE ESTABLISHING PROVISIONS FOR THE <br />REGULATION OF ACCESSORY SHEDS AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />PLANNER TO REWORK THE ORDINANCE EXPANDING THE CRITERIA <br />FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Pedersen introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -2 -43 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON THE ACCESSORY SHED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT UNTIL THE <br />MARCH 26, 1997 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ZONING Scalze opened the public hearing to consider adoption <br />ORDINANCE of an ordinance relating to antennas, satellite dishes, <br />TEXT and towers. It was noted that the Planning Commission <br />AMENDMENT - recommended approval of the ordinance with the <br />ANTENNAS additional provision that antenna co- locations be <br />AND TOWERS allowed by administrative permit. <br />5 <br />Page 29 <br />
