CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYWAYS WHEREAS, The City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate: All of First Street, Second Street, Third Street, Fourth Street, and Fifth Street, and that part of Middle Street lying between First Street and Fifth Street, together with alleys in Blocks 7 through 10 and Blocks 12 through 14, all in Rice Street Motor Line Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder, Ramsey County, Minnesota. AND WHEREAS, A public hearing was held on the 23rd day of April, 1997 before the City Council in the City Center after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Administrator as required by law, a reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; AND WHEREAS, Any person, corporation or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove or otherwise attend thereto; AND WHEREAS, It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such streets and alleys; AND WHEREAS, Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this resolution; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the streets and alleys described as follows are hereby vacated: Page 4
