The only engineering related <br />issue involved in this expansion concerns the existing drainage ditch around the south and east <br />sides of the property. The owner proposes to fill and relocate this ditch along the south property <br />line. Our records indicate that a drainage easement may currently exist along the existing ditch. <br />We recommend that the owner be required to record the appropriate easement vacations and <br />dedications related to relocating this ditch. If the owner wishes to relocate the ditch on adjacent <br />properties (Burlington Northern Railroad or Levitz), then the owner must gain approval from <br />these property owners. <br />Page 118 <br />
