Chuck Nelson
120 Yorkton Ridge
Little Canada, MN. 55117
May 3, 1997
Dear City Manager, Little Canada, MN.
RECEIVED :t:1 0 5 1297
I understand that an open lot has recently been sold on Yorkton Ridge across the street
from 130 Yorkton Ridge. My understanding is that the Buyer wants to move an old house
onto the lot.
If we had a neighborhood that was a little older, I wouldn't care, however, I do object to
having an old house moved into a relatively new neighborhood as it will undoubtedly have
a negative effect on property values. As our home is only 5 years old and many are newer
than that, I do object to moving in an old house. Besides, it will not fit into a
neighborhood of new modem homes. We didn't move into this area to have old homes
spring up. Instead we moved out of areas that had older homes as we like the modern look
of a new neighborhood.
As I cannot attend any of the meetings planned on this issue, due to previous business
commitments out of state. I want to go on record, along with my wife, on my position
regarding this matter. In the event that there is a petition taken up on this issue, please
add our names to the list to block this activity.
Sincerely,
c
Lr `' L . 1
Daryl C.
