I am pleased to learn
that the City of Little Canada adopted a new telecommunications ordinance and terminated its
moratorium on the siting of personal wireless service facilities on approximately March 18,
1997. Your action permitting personal wireless service facilities to be deployed in your
community, consistent with local land use priorities, will enable your citizens to obtain the
benefits of innovative and valuable wireless telecommunications services.
I remain committed to helping all parties quickly achieve the siting of personal
wireless service facilities in a manner that is consistent with the rights and interests of all
parties. Please let me know if the Commission can be of any further assistance as you
continue in this process.
cc: Mayor Fahey
Sincerely,
7/7 Reed E.
