The purpose of the second curb access is to facilitate a u- <br />shaped driveway and construction of a detached accessory garage to be used for the <br />storage of a disability accessible vehicle, medical therapy equiptment and other items. The <br />construction of the proposed 576 detached garage requires approval of a Conditional Use <br />Permit for a second garage on a single family lot as well as a Conditional Use Permit for <br />accessory space in excess of 1,000 sq. ft. on a single family lot. The applicant is requesting approval of a second curb cut to facilitate <br />a U- shaped driveway and access to a proposed detached garage. Section 903.050.D.8.j <br />of the Zoning Ordinance limits single family properties to one curb cut. As such, a variance <br />is required.
