MINUTES <br />CUP TO MOVE <br />AN EXISTING <br />HOUSE INTO <br />IRE CITY — <br />2591 RUTH STR. <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 10, 1997 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10" <br />day of July, 1997 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the <br />following members of the Commission were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Admin. Assistant <br />There being no corrections, the minutes of the June 12, 1997 regular <br />Planning Commission meeting stand approved as submitted. <br />The City Planner reported that the applicant, C. D. Hart, has submitted <br />information from a realtor as well as tax information, which indicates <br />that the house he is proposing to move to 2591 Ruth Street is comparable <br />in value to the surrounding homes. The Planner pointed out that the <br />house is currently a ramble with an attached garage. The applicant is <br />proposing to remodel the house adding two bedrooms and a tuck -under <br />garage. <br />Mr. C. D. Hart appeared before the Planning Commission. Mr. Hart <br />estimated the value of the house he is proposing to move into the City at <br />$117,000. There have been a couple of sales in the Ruth Street area at <br />$109,000 and $110,000. Therefore, the house he is proposing to move in <br />actually has a little higher value than those in the neighborhood. The <br />house will be slightly larger than surrounding homes. It has a stone front, <br />and was constructed in 1942. The house is currently located in the area of <br />Page 36 <br />
