August 5, 1997 <br />City Administrator <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road East <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />Dear City Administrator: <br />I would like to be considered to fill one of the vacancies on the Little Canada <br />Parks and Recreation Commission. My wife and I purchased our house in <br />Little Canada in May, 1997. Although we still have boxes to unpack and <br />pictures to hang on the walls, this city quickly became our home. Now, we <br />hope to become active members of the community. I believe the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission is a great place to start. <br />My enclosed resume reflects my education and experience. In addition to the <br />work experience described in my resume, I will be joining the Minnesota <br />Attorney General's Office in late September. I believe my legal background, as <br />well as my experience at the state legislature, will allow me to make <br />substantial contributions to the Commission. <br />I look forward to hearing from you soon.
