It is their recommendation to reject all bids <br />and re -bid the job during the winter for construction next spring. It was thought that <br />more favorable bids could be received at that time. <br />The Commission also decided to recommend moving the parking lot expansion at the <br />new Spooner Park shelter into 1998. It was felt that if this was financially possible it <br />could save a considerable amount of money for the City by bidding both projects <br />together. <br />This would seem to make sense to me and I would concur with their recommendations. <br />Page 43 <br />
