MINUTES OF I l.E REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMLSSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 11, 1997 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 11th <br />day of September, 1997 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the <br />following members of the Commission were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr: Scott Baraciough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs, Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES There being no corrections, the minutes of the August 14, 1997 regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission are approved as submitted. <br />PROPERTY Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson appeared before the Commission requesting <br />DIVISION — approval of the division of their property located at 45 W. Demont Avenue <br />45 W. into two single- family lots. Mr. Johnson reported that he has a friend who <br />DEMONT would like to purchase the lot and build a single - family home. <br />AVENUE — <br />JOHNSON DeLonais pointed out that the property line would have to be moved in <br />order to provide a 30 -foot rear yard setback for the Johnson home. Mr. <br />Johnson indicated that he was agreeable to relocating the property line. <br />Montour asked if Johnson would be changing the grade of the property. <br />Mr. Johnson estimated that 700 yards of materials would be removed from <br />the lot in order that a house with a tuck -under garage could be built on the <br />property. <br />Page 8 <br />
