Surveys, existing Design Concept /Development Drawings and copies of Drawings as prepared for the original Construction. I understand that it shall be a requirement that Construction Documents be Complete and ready to solicit Bids by the end of February, 1998, and that the Building's Dedication is planned for early October, 1998 which will require Completion of Construction by early to mid September, 1998. I agree to devote the time necessary to complete each Phase of our Work in a timely manner to meet this Schedule. I, as well as the Consultants I shall engage, agree to remain responsibly involved thru the completion of this Project and to attend necessary meetings to help insure the successful completion of this Project. Meetings shall include but, not be limited to, working with Yourself, City Staff, Commissions /Committees of the City and the Historical Society and including assistance with fundraising activities. I propose that Compensation for the above Architectural Services be based upon the Fixed Fee of $13,800.00. Compensation shall be due and payable monthly based upon the percentage of completion of our Phases of the Work. In the event that substantial changes to the Drawings or Scope of the Work should be requested by the City or it's Agents after a Phase has been completed and accepted, or Architectural Services that we mutually agree to be Additional Architectural Services are required, additional Compensation shall be based upon the Hourly Rate of $60.00 per hour, or upon a previously agreed upon Lump -Sum amount. In addition to the foregoing Compensation, all expenditures made in the interest of the Project will be reimbursable at my cost. These items will include but, not be limited to the following: reproduction of Drawings and Construction Documents, photo coping and /or photo- graphic reproduction. All additional services and /or significant direct expense items shall be authorized by yourself prior to commencement of the Work or incurrance of the expense. As a footnote to this Proposal, I would like to express my interest in working with the City of Little Canada to provide the Services of Construction Management for the actual Construction of this Project. I have been both directly and indirectly involved in other projects completed in this manner and I believe that the City could realize cost savings by acting as it's own Generla Contractor and hiring Construction Management. I would be most happy to discuss this possibility in detail if the City has equal interest. Page 150
