ADVERTISEMENT TO BID Old Fire Station Renovation The City of Little Canada, 515 East Little Canada Road, Little Canada, Minnesota 55117, will receive sealed bids for the renovation of the Old Fire Station located at 440 East Little Canada Road until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Tuesday, May 21, 1996, at which time they will be opened and read aloud by the City Administrator. Any bid received, either by mail or personal submission, after the time and date specified will not be considered. Bids received via facsimile will not be accepted. Bid documents may be obtained in exchange for a $25.00 deposit from PFA Paul Finsness Architects, 734 Larpentuer Avenue East, St. Paul, MN 55117 at (612) 771 - 7183. Sets can be mailed via the U.S. Postal Service for $8.00 per set. Partial sets will not be issued. The deposit required for bid documents will be refunded for complete sets of bid documents which are entirely reusable and returned directly to the Architect. Documents are also available for review at Little Canada City Hall, F.W. Dodge Corporation, Minnesota and St. Paul Builders Exchanges and Construction Market Data. A pre -bid conference site visit will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 1996 at the project site. All interested bidders should attend this meeting. All bids must be sealed and marked "Old Fire Station Renovation" and each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, bid bond, or cash deposit for an amount not less than five percent of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of Little Canada. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond. No bid shall be withdrawn subsequent to the opening of bids for a period of thirty days after the scheduled time of closing of bids. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and /or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Page 29
