ADVERTISEMENT TO BID <br />Old Fire Station Renovation <br />The City of Little Canada, 515 East Little Canada Road, Little <br />Canada, Minnesota 55117, will receive sealed bids for the <br />renovation of the Old Fire Station located at 440 East Little <br />Canada Road until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Tuesday, May 21, <br />1996, at which time they will be opened and read aloud by the <br />City Administrator. Any bid received, either by mail or personal <br />submission, after the time and date specified will not be <br />considered. Bids received via facsimile will not be accepted. <br />Bid documents may be obtained in exchange for a $25.00 deposit <br />from PFA Paul Finsness Architects, 734 Larpentuer Avenue East, <br />St. Paul, MN 55117 at (612) 771 - 7183. Sets can be mailed via the <br />U.S. Postal Service for $8.00 per set. Partial sets will not be <br />issued. The deposit required for bid documents will be refunded <br />for complete sets of bid documents which are entirely reusable <br />and returned directly to the Architect. Documents are also <br />available for review at Little Canada City Hall, F.W. Dodge <br />Corporation, Minnesota and St. Paul Builders Exchanges and <br />Construction Market Data. <br />A pre -bid conference site visit will be held at 2:00 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, May 14, 1996 at the project site. All interested <br />bidders should attend this meeting. <br />All bids must be sealed and marked "Old Fire Station Renovation" <br />and each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified <br />check, bid bond, or cash deposit for an amount not less than five <br />percent of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of <br />Little Canada. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a <br />satisfactory performance bond. No bid shall be withdrawn <br />subsequent to the opening of bids for a period of thirty days <br />after the scheduled time of closing of bids. <br />The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and /or all <br />bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the <br />bidding. <br />Page 29 <br />
