nonprofit organizations in existence for at least three (3) years <br />prior to the date of application. Proof of eligibility must <br />accompany an application for Temporary On -Sale license. <br />Applications shall be made thirty (30) days in advance on forms <br />prescribed by the City Administrator. No licenses shall be valid <br />prior to approval by the Commissioner of Public Safety. The <br />application must state the days of sale for which a license is <br />requested, and a new application must be completed and submitted <br />for each additional period. of time not to cxcccd thrcc (3) days. <br />The minimum requirement for proof of financial responsibility may <br />be given by filing: <br />(a) a certificate that there is in effect for the <br />license period an insurance policy or pool providing at least <br />$50,000 of coverage because of bodily injury to any one person in <br />any one occurrence, $100,000 because of bodily injury to two or <br />more persons in any one occurrence, $10,000 because of injury to or <br />destruction of property of others in any one occurrence, $50,000 <br />for loss of means of support of any one person in any one <br />occurrence, and $100,000 for loss of means of support of two or <br />more persons in any one occurrence; or <br />(b) a bond of a surety company with minimum coverages as <br />provided in paragraph (a); or <br />(c) a certificate of the state treasurer that the <br />licensee has deposited with the state treasurer $300,000 in cash or <br />securities which may legally be purchased by savings banks or for <br />trust funds having a market value of $300,000. <br />(3) Off -Sale License. An off -sale license may only be <br />granted to an exclusive liquor store. <br />(4) On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License. Each license shall <br />state whether or not the applicant proposes to afford the privilege <br />of dancing to his or her guests or whether vaudeville entertainment <br />will be afforded or whether both will be provided. In case the <br />applicant proposes to afford the public the privilege of dancing, <br />the application shall set forth the amount of floor space available <br />which the applicant proposes to maintain for dancing purposes. <br />(5) On -Sale Restaurant Intoxicating Liquor License. Each <br />application and "On -Sale Restaurant" intoxicating liquor license <br />shall include sufficient evidence to confirm that the applicant has <br />satisfied the requirements of Section 703.030 of this Chapter. <br />(6) Proof of Financial Responsibility. Prior to the issuance <br />of an intoxicating liquor license, the applicant shall demonstrate <br />proof of financial responsibility as defined in Minnesota Statutes <br />Section 340A.409, Subdivision 1, with reference to liability under <br />Minnesota Statutes Section 340A.801.
