<br /> <br /> Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br />To: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />From: Eric Seaburg, City Engineer <br /> <br />Date: July 22, 2026 <br /> <br />Re: Final Payment – Little Canada Road Early Tree Clearing Project <br /> <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Final Pay Estimate to Husky Construction in the amount of $20,778.50. <br /> <br />Background: <br />The final amount earned by the Contractor on this project is $91,629.50. Withholding <br />previous payments, the amount due is $38,771.55. <br /> <br />Source Of Funds: <br />The Little Canada Road Project (PW 67) is included in the 2026–2035 Capital Improvement <br />Plan (CIP). Costs for early tree clearing and associated restoration work continue to be <br />cost shared with Ramsey County in accordance with their cost participation policy and the <br />Cooperative Agreement. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve payment in the amount of $20,778.50 to <br />Husky Construction. <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />• Pay Application <br />• Contractor Affidavit <br />• Receipt and Waiver of Mechanic’s Lien Rights <br /> <br /> <br />
