Bids are as follows:
Base Bid
AA Contracting $154,100
Braden Construction 189,900
DBA Construction 175,285
Meisinger Const. 220,500
Specialty Const. Braden
Construction did not acknowledge receipt of the project addendum.
Paul Finsness will be reviewing the bids prior to Wednesday's
meeting to determine that the bid documents are in order. Staff
will also be evaluating the bids to determine if there are any
opportunities to reduce costs. One option may be to reject the
bids and rebid the project in the Spring when the bidding climate
may be more advantageous for the City. As you are aware, the
project estimate was $127,000.
Staff will have a final recommendation at Wednesday's meeting.
Page 125
