MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OCTOBER 10, 1996 <br />The Planner indicated that after approval of a SUP for <br />a home occupation, the Code requires a one year review. <br />After that initial review, home occupations are then <br />reviewed on a three -year basis. There are no <br />additional fees involved, and as long as Code <br />requirements are continuing to be met, the review is an <br />automatic administrative renewal. <br />Mr. Knudsen recommended approval of the Special Use <br />Permit for home occupation as requested by Mr. Richard <br />Thorp, 470 Costa Lane, for his lawn service business <br />subject to compliance with the recommendations of the <br />City Planner as contained in his report dated October <br />7, 1995. <br />Motion seconded by Carson. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />BECKER Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Becker, 551 Allen Avenue, appeared <br />PROPERTY before the Commission requesting approval of the <br />DIVISION division of their property on Allen Avenue into two <br />single- family lots. <br />The City Planner reported that the property division <br />meets City Code requirements, and recommended approval <br />Mr. Schletty recommended approval of the Becker <br />property division as requested subject to compliance <br />with the recommendations of the City Planner as <br />outlined in his report dated October 7, 1996. <br />Motion seconded by Montour. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />HERITAGE The City Planner reported that the owners of Heritage <br />OFFICE PARK Office Park have requested approval to divide a 27 foot <br />PROPERTY strip from their property so they can convey it to <br />DIVISION the adjacent property owner. The business - warehousing <br />property has been using this strip of property. <br />Therefore, to resolve the encroachment issue, Heritage <br />Office Park would be conveying the property. <br />Keis recommended approval of the Heritage Office Park <br />property division as requested subject to compliance <br />10 <br />Page 65 <br />
