A license fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars and No /100 Dollars <br />($150.00) for one (1) year or any part thereof shall be paid to the <br />City at the time of submitting said application. This annual <br />license shall commence July 1 of each year and is non - transferable. <br />Subsequent amendments of the fee shall be by resolution of the City <br />Council. <br />809.040. BOND AND INSURANCE REQUIRED. Each applicant shall, <br />before being granted a license, provide a continuing performance <br />bond in the amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) for the <br />benefit of its customers and of the City. Further, said applicant <br />shall provide a certificate of public liability insurance in the <br />minimum amount of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) for <br />any one person injured, and Five Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />($500,000.00) for more than one injury in a single occurrence, and <br />One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) property damage coverage <br />per accident on each and every vehicle used for collection service. <br />809.050. MANDATORY PROVISION OF RECYCLING COLLECTION <br />SERVICES. All licensees providing service to residential dwelling <br />units shall provide for the collection and disposal of recyclable <br />materials, and providing recyclable collection services shall be a <br />condition of the license. On or before the 15th day of each month, <br />the licensee shall file a written statement of total tonnage of <br />recyclable materials and refuse collected by the licensee in the <br />previous month with the City. On or before the 1st day of July of <br />each year, each licensee must provide the City with the name and <br />address of any tri -plex, four -plex, apartment building with five or <br />more dwelling units, condominium or townhouse associations, or <br />mobile home parks which receive collection service from the <br />licensee. Any additions or deletions to this list of customers <br />shall be reported on or before the 15th day of each month. <br />809.060. RESPONSIBILITY OF LICENSED HAULER. <br />(A) No person except a hauler duly licensed by the City shall <br />transport mixed municipal solid waste or recyclables over any <br />street or alley in the City or shall disturb, collect, or in any <br />manner, interfere with mixed municipal solid waste or recyclables <br />placed in containers for collection, or interfere in any manner <br />with containers for mixed municipal solid waste or recyclables. <br />Furthermore, no person shall deposit or cause to be deposited any <br />of the above - described materials into containers for such items on <br />private property unless authorization from the property owner has <br />been obtained. <br />(B) Each collection crew shall adhere to all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all of the rules, regulations and <br />conditions for mixed municipal solid waste collection as <br />established by any agency of the City, County, State, or Federal <br />agencies. <br />-4- <br />Page 106 <br />
