NOV 07 '96 11 :09AM EHLERS & ASSOCIATES p.3/3 RESOLUTION NO CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MODIFICATION OF DEVELOPMENT PROCRAMS FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS NOS. 1 AND 2 AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS NOS. 1-1, 1-2, AND 2-1. WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada (the "City") administers Development Districts Nos. 1 and 2 and Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 1 -1, 1 -2, and 2 -1 within Development Districts Nos. 1 and 2 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes. Section 469.124 to 469.134 and Sections 469.174 to 469.179 (collectively, the "Acts "); and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to consider modifications to the Development Programs for Development Districts Nos. 1 and 2 and modifications to the Tax Increment Financing Plans for the Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 1 -1, 1 -2, and 2-1 and to hold a public hearing thereon in accordance with the Acts: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council ") of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, as follows: 1. Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Wednesday, December 18, 1996, at approximately 7:30 p.m., to hold a public hearing on the proposed modifications of Development Districts Nos. 1 and 2 and Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 1 -1, 1 -2, and 2 -1, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 to 469.134, inclusive, as amended; and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as amended, in an effort to encourage the development and redevelopment of certain designated areas within the City; and. 2. Notice of Hearing; Olingoarograntand plans. The City staff and consultants are authorized and directed to modify the Development Programs (the "Programs") and to modify the Tax Increment Financing Plans (the "Plans ") and to forward documents to the appropriate taxing jurisdictions including Ramsey County, Independent School District No. 623. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to cause notice of the hearing, together with an appropriate map as requited by law, to be published in the official newspaper of the City not later than 10 days prior to December 18, 1996 and to place a copy of the modified Programs and modified Plans on file in the Administrator's Office at City Hall and to make such copy available for inspection by the public.
